Renowned as a footballer of lightning pace and dazzling ball skills, Dave decided to give all of this up in order to become an accepted member of the SC Falcon squad. Despite this noble sacrifice, Dave is still a tricky customer for defenders to deal with, whether on the wing or in the centre of the "attack" (the term is used advisedly because the SC Falcon attack is rarely in evidence).

Although he maintains the pretence of fallibility admirably, Dave occasionally forgets himself and his natural talent, silky ball skills and long-range net-busting shooting ability resurface. As a result of these lapses, he has been the club's top scorer in all bar two of the seasons he has played for the club.

Not content with shaming his team mates with his goal scoring feats, Dave decided that management was for him and set to work leading the team to yet another dismal league position in his first stint in charge. Fortunately you don't learn to score from the halfway line without trying it a few times and having resigned his managerial post for a season Dave returned to the job in 2005/2006 and led the team to its most successful season ever (4th place) and netted himself a share in the golden boot along the way.

Realising that without clearing away framed photos of Butt-head look-a-like Ryan Giggs, he couldn't find any more room on his mantelpiece for SC Falcon trophies Dave decided to do the unthinkable. At the end of the 2005/2006 season he decided to walk away from SC Falcon in order to concentrate more keenly on reducing his crazy golf handicap. A comeback hasn't been ruled out though so watch this space. He may be an SC Falcon legend, but that tower with the spiral ramp may yet prove too tough for him.
